Ashley Riley

Registered Representative

Most people don’t immediately see the obvious connection between science and financial planning…but Ashley Riley and her clients certainly do. After graduating from Assumption College with a BA in Biology, Ashley went on to work as a research associate in the Transplantation Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. Ashley hit the ground running and was a 5-time published co-author during her time there.

That clinical experience honed her analytic and problem-solving proficiency, but the lab was no place for someone with Ashley’s outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.

A few years later, Ashley joined Bartholomew & Company, a firm she knew could leverage her scientific background to help guide clients through all phases of their financial lives. She embarked on her new financial services career by apprenticing with the firm’s founder and CEO, Tom Bartholomew. Ashley learned the business from the bottom up, working closely with Tom to identify each client’s financial planning and investment opportunities, preparing reports and proposals, and participating in client meetings.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor,” Ashley contends, “I learned so much about working with clients as well as the investment management and financial planning core of our business”.

In addition to Ashley’s work with her own clients, she also has the responsibility for leading the firm’s growing financial planning department. In this role, Ashley works with all Bartholomew & Company advisors to create and implement financial plans through Right Capital, a leading-edge, next generation financial and tax planning software providing clients with actionable advice.

Ashely holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Ashley lives in Holden with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
