Vice President, Employee Benefits
George Vogel joined Bartholomew & Company in September 2021 as Vice President, Employee Benefits. He comes to us with more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry, focusing almost exclusively in the 401(k) arena. George’s background and expertise will help Bartholomew & Company continue to expand its capabilities in the corporate retirement and benefits market. In addition, George will also continue to work with business owners and high-net-worth individuals as a private wealth manager.
George has served on the boards of numerous educational and social service organizations. He is a past president of the Worcester Estate and Business Planning Council, the Wachusett Area Rotary Club, and the Chapter of Financial Services Professionals of Worcester.
George has taught numerous courses in the Employee Benefit and Financial Services curriculum of the Chartered Financial Consultant program. He also taught the Executive Benefits course in the graduate programs of the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
George is a graduate of Nichols College with a degree in business management. He holds an MS in financial services from the American College, and a master of divinity degree from the Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Massachusetts.
George has spoken throughout the U.S. on employee benefits and financial services issues. He has written numerous articles on employee benefits and financial services topics and is co-author of Anderson on Financial Planning, published by Dow Jones-Irwin.
George holds his FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and licensed insurance consultant.
