Sue Kelley brings more than 35 years of experience across government and financial services, supporting municipalities and institutions in navigating complex financial responsibilities with discipline and clarity. As part of Bartholomew & Company’s Governments & Institutions Division, she works closely with clients to provide perspective grounded in public accountability, long-term planning, and practical execution.

Sue’s career reflects a deep understanding of the challenges facing public entities. Before joining the firm in 2019, she spent nine years in senior government banking roles, including Senior Vice President at Adams Community Bank and Vice President of Government Banking at UniBank. Earlier in her career, she served the Town of Lee, Massachusetts for 19 years, including 12 years as Town Treasurer—experience that continues to shape her approach to fiduciary responsibility and decision-making under scrutiny.

She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a Certified Massachusetts Treasurer. Sue has been an active leader within the Massachusetts Collectors and Treasurers Association, serving as past president and a member of its executive board, and remains engaged in the profession today as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Town of Lee.

Sue earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Berkshire Christian College.

A lifelong resident of Lee, Sue enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, walking, and cooking, as well as spending time with family and friends. She and her husband have seven children and nine grandchildren.
