WORCESTER, MA (May 4, 2011) — Worcester investment firm, Bartholomew & Company, Inc. has promoted Joshua A. Paul, CFP®, AIF® and Charles E. Patterson, AIF®, to senior vice presidents.
Paul joined Bartholomew & Company in 1995. He was previously employed by Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. and Cape Cod Bank & Trust Company. He is a graduate of the Boston College Carroll School of Management and studied at the London School of Economics. Paul is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations as an investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network. Paul serves on the Scholarship Committee for the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
Patterson joined Bartholomew & Company in 2002. He was previously employed as a Treasurer for the Tantasqua Regional School District and the Town of Shrewsbury. Prior to those positions, he worked for Shawmut Bank and the City of Worcester Treasurer's Office. He is a graduate of Nichols College and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 securities registrations as an investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network. Patterson heads the Municipal Services division of Bartholomew & Company.
Both individuals are members of several Massachusetts municipal treasurers and collectors associations.
