Dory joined Bartholomew & Company in 2005, bringing with her more than 30 years of municipal and finance experience. As a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designee, Dory assists clients in creating effective retirement income plans by determining savings requirements and calculating retirement projections to meet future needs. Using various scenarios, Dory helps clients to plan for unforeseen circumstances, minimize tax consequences, and consider social security claiming effects when creating their retirement income strategy. In addition, she is a certified life, health, variable, and long-term care insurance agent.
Dory holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. She earned the RICP® designation from the American College of Financial Services and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation from Fi360 and has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Her background also includes serving as a vice president at Bank of America for seven years, where she was responsible for municipal client accounts.

Dory graduated summa cum laude from Anna Maria College with a BS in business management with a concentration in finance. She is certified as both a Massachusetts municipal treasurer and collector and currently serves as an assessor for the town of Paxton—a position she has held since 1987.
Outside the office, Dory serves on the board of directors for the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce and the scholarship selection committee for the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
