Grounded in Relationships, Driven by Purpose

Jim joined Bartholomew & Company in 2018, bringing more than 30 years of investment experience to the team. He serves in dual roles as Vice President of Private Wealth Management and Director of Business Development.

As a private wealth manager, Jim partners closely with clients to help them make informed decisions about their finances, focusing on the growth, preservation, and transfer of wealth. His commitment to guiding clients through life’s many stages is reflected in his holistic, multigenerational approach.

In his role as Director of Business Development, Jim helps drive the firm’s strategic growth, contributing to long-term initiatives that support Bartholomew & Company’s continued evolution.

Jim began his investment career in 1988 as an internal product representative with Prudential-Bache Securities. He later held a similar role at Cadaret, Grant, where he developed a deep appreciation for the value a trusted financial advisor brings to individuals and families.

In 1995, Jim expanded his investment experience and went on to a successful 23-year career as a Regional Vice President with two well-respected asset managers—Invesco and later Legg Mason. During this time, he worked closely with independent advisors throughout New England and earned numerous awards and accolades. Today, Jim has come full circle, returning to the independent advisory space.

Jim has been recognized as a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager from 2023–2026, an honor conferred by Five Star Professional.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Montclair State University and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Jim lives in Northborough, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kim. He is the proud father of four sons, whom he considers his greatest achievement. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
