Grounded in Relationships, Driven by Purpose

Jim joined Bartholomew & Company in 2018, bringing more than 30 years of investment experience to our team. He serves dual roles at the firm: VP of private wealth management and director of business development.

As a private wealth manager, Jim enjoys working with clients to help them make more informed decisions about their money and the growth and protection of their assets and estates. Jim’s commitment to and passion for guiding his clients through their many life events come through in his holistic, multigenerational approach. Additionally, as director of business development, Jim takes on the task of helping Bartholomew & Company grow and evolve the firm through several exciting long-range initiatives.

Jim cut his teeth in the investment industry in 1988 as an internal product representative for a large wirehouse firm, Prudential-Bache Securities. From there, Jim moved on to a similar role at an independent broker/dealer, Cadaret, Grant, where he developed an admiration for the value a trusted financial advisor can provide to individuals and families.

In 1995, looking to broaden his investment background, Jim began a successful 23-year career as regional vice president for two well-respected money managers: first at Invesco and later at Legg Mason. He worked closely with independent advisors in the New England region and won many awards and accolades over the years. Now the cycle is complete as Jim returns to the world of independent financial advice.

Jim graduated from Montclair State University with a BS in business administration. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Jim lives in Northborough, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kim, and their four teenage sons. He enjoys traveling, spending time at home with friends and family, and watching his sons play sports.
