Jon Mack joined Bartholomew & Company in January 2024, where he servers two key roles. As Director of Retirement Plan Consulting, Jon is guiding the firm’s strategic growth in the workspace retirement plan market. Jon grew up in Worcester and graduated from the Eisenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. While at UMass, Jon got his first taste of international finance, studying abroud in Kyoto, Japan. Following graduation, Jon joined Sanyo Securities in New York City, leveraging his exposure to international finance.

In 1992, Jon took a temporary hiatus from his investment carrot to join his family’s logistics enterprise. He learned the business from the ground up, spending time in all divisions including trucking, warehousing, and distribution. Jon’s diverse responsibilities ranged from managing the warehouse to eventually heading the sales division of what grew into a $15 million company.

Following the family’s decision to sell the company in 2007, Job transitioned back to his financial roots, first with Morgan Stanley and UBS before finding his niche with Bartholomew & Company. Drawing from his diverse experiences, Jon easily connects with clients, empathizing with business owners and employees alike.

Jon resides in Shrewbury with his wife Brenda, their children and canine companions, finding solace in the warmth of familial bonds. Whether he’s whipping up culinary delights for loved ones or gliding across the tranquil waters of Lake Quinsigamond on water skis, Jon cherishes the serenity of “lake life.” Jon’s passion extends to training Golden Retrievers from competitive fields trials, embodying his commitment to excellence beyond the board room.
