Peter joined Bartholomew & Company in 2009, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. As vice president of private wealth management, he concentrates on personal wealth management as well as managing 401(k) plans, which includes helping company owners design and manage workplace retirement plans and their employees prepare for retirement.
Peter started his career in 1984 working at 30 Wall Street as a government bond specialist. At the time, interest rates were at 15 percent and the Dow Jones average was under 1,000. He has been guiding his clients through bull markets, crashes, and recoveries ever since. After spending most of the 1980s in lower Manhattan, he relocated with his family to Stow, Massachusetts.
Peter holds FINRA Series, 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. He is also a licensed life insurance agent. In addition, Peter has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation from Fi360 and has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. He is a graduate of Hobart College.
Peter lives in Stow with his wife, Nancy, and has two grown sons, who reside in the Boston area. He’s a longtime member of the town of Stow Finance Committee and the Stow Capital Planning Committee and has a long history of community involvement in nonprofit volunteering and fundraising.
